Description

The Arcadia ProT5 UVB Kit is a high output T5 lighting solution designed for use inside vivariums or mounted above mesh top enclosures. It is available in three wattages 24W, 39W, and 54W allowing you to select the most suitable option for your setup. Each unit is supplied as a complete, ready to install kit and can be linked with up to 10 units for larger enclosures. It includes a high performance reflector and your chosen UVB lamp, providing a professional and reliable source of essential UVB lighting. Despite its compact size, the ProT5 is highly efficient thanks to its advanced reflector design. The removable and easy to clean reflector directs UV rich light downward to create a strong basking zone (around 30 cm / 12″ below the unit), while also spreading light outward to cover a wider area. This ensures both focused and even UVB distribution across the enclosure. The unit operates flicker free and comes complete with a power cable, switch, mounting fittings, link cable, reflector, and bulb for quick and simple setup. The included 14% T5 UVB tube is one of the most powerful available, designed for species that require high UVB exposure, such as uromastyx, agamidae, african tortoises, iguanas, and desert monitors. For safe use, the lamp should typically be positioned around 45–60 cm (18–24″) from the animal when used with a reflector, and never closer than 30 cm (12″). In taller or arboreal enclosures, animals can naturally regulate their exposure by moving further away when needed.
